Speeding Cameras Installation
Following the Lifestyle Survey conducted in April, we identified significant concerns regarding speeding within the Estate, ranking as the fourth largest security issue among 482 participants.
To enhance the safety of our residents, the DHA has installed additional speed monitoring cameras throughout the Estate. Please be reminded of the established speed limits:
– 40 km/h on Gateside Avenue and Hempton Avenue
– 25 km/h in the villages
Big Easy Tournament Highlights
Congratulations to Mr. Ulrich van den Berg, the champion of the Big Easy Tournament held at our golf course from 5-8 May 2025. In his post-tournament interview, Mr. van den Berg commended the exceptional quality of Dainfern’s greens, echoing our commitment to maintaining world-class facilities.
Mother’s Day Celebration
The Dainfern Homeowners Association arranged a delightful spa day for 50 wonderful mothers at the Clubhouse, complete with a glass of bubbles, a 20-minute beauty treatment, and a pamper gift.
A heartfelt thank you to resident Julie Cunningham for generously donating 25 of her Prayerful Parenting journals for the occasion.
While mothers enjoyed their relaxation time, children were entertained with inflatables, a colouring wall, and an arts and crafts station.
Gazebo Maintenance in Highgate Park.
We have completed necessary refurbishment on the gazebo in Highgate Park, which overlooks a vibrant dam filled with birdlife. This enhancement ensures that the gazebo remains a beautiful gathering spot for residents while supporting local wildlife, particularly birds that use thatching for their nests.
Old Control Room Roof Replacement
The old control room roof is being replaced in line with our update of design and aesthetic enhancements.
Drainage Improvements at the Multipurpose Court
To safeguard the multipurpose court from future water damage, our team has commenced the installation of a drainage pipe around the area. This system will effectively divert groundwater away from the court. We appreciate your patience as we complete this important enhancement.
Trailer Parking Area Upgrades
Our maintenance team has relocated the trailers previously stored in the trailer parking area to an open field across the road. We have levelled and compacted the ground of the parking area, and the next phase involves paving the area and returning the trailers.
Stormwater Management at La Quinta Street
To address damage caused by stormwater flooding on the road, our maintenance team has remedied the situation by removing the existing paving and connecting a storm-water pipe to an existing drainage system approximately 80 meters away. This action will alleviate road surface damage and improve drainage in the area.
Paving and Wall Repairs
The village on 1143 Gateside experienced issues with lifted paving and compromised wall due to tree roots. Our maintenance crew has successfully removed the affected paving, eliminated the tree roots, and replaced the paving and wall.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation as we work to enhance the living experience within our Estate.
Yours sincerely,
