Dear Residents, Wishing you and your families a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
As we step into 2026, I would like to share my message for 2026 to my team: “Fresh set of eyes.”
“May we approach our daily tasks with renewed perspective. May we look at Dainfern through fresh eyes and identify the improvements we can make. May we tackle everything we do with curiosity, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose—bringing fresh energy to our work, both as a team and as individuals. I look forward to a truly refreshed 2026, and to what we can achieve together with your continued support.”
It is also an invitation for all of us to look at Dainfern – our estate, our shared spaces and our community – with renewed perspective. To appreciate what works well, to identify where we can improve, and to bring fresh energy and intention into the year ahead.
December was a notably wet month, with higher rainfall and more frequent rain days than we have experienced in recent years. While this presented challenges, it also served as a valuable test of our estate infrastructure and monitoring systems.
I am pleased to reassure Residents that following the heavy rainfall, all gabion barriers across the estate were thoroughly inspected and remain fully intact. In addition, our flood detection systems proved highly effective, providing early alerts and valuable real-time information – offering both our management team and Residents greater peace of mind during periods of intense weather.
I would like to thank our estate teams and service partners for their diligence during this time, and our Residents for their patience and cooperation. Moments like these remind us of the importance of preparation, investment and shared responsibility in protecting the place we call home.
As we look ahead to 2026, I am confident that by viewing Dainfern through a fresh set of eyes, we can continue to enhance the quality, safety and lifestyle that define our estate.
