Thank You For Supporting #DAINFERNCARES
In June and July, we invited residents to support our ongoing #DainfernCares initiative —offering our hardworking domestic and gardening staff a hot beverage to warm up the winter mornings while they wait for the shuttle service at the gate.
A heartfelt thank you to Jared Carr from Genises for generously sponsoring two weeks’ worth of supplies for this meaningful cause. Thank you to Andreas Lackner for his generous donation of R7500.00 and to Colin Adendorff for the donation of cups.
We’re also incredibly grateful to Sharon, Silvya Bolliger, Ingrid Wingnean, Louise Janovsky, Hugh Ansley, Colleen Teklenburg who’ve sent Checkers Sixty60 or Pick n Pay ASAP deliveries to the HOA office filled with coffee, tea, sugar, milk, and hot chocolate —your kindness has made a real difference.

Love Your Dog – Lead Your Dog
Unfortunately, we have had another incident involving an off-lead dog. These incidents are distressing and entirely preventable. It’s essential that all pet owners take responsibility to ensure the safety and comfort of fellow residents and their pets.
Dogs must always be on a leash when outside your home. These rules are not just common courtesy—they are part of our Estate regulations and exist to protect everyone. Please ensure that your staff are also fully aware of and follow these rules.
A few key reminders:
• Dogs must be on a lead in all open areas
• Keep pets away from wildlife and nature-sensitive zones
• Always pick up after your pet
Thank you for doing your part in maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all.
Security Monitoring Reminder
A reminder that the DHA-supported home alarm monitoring service will be discontinued on 31 July 2025. Residents wishing to continue with a monitored solution are encouraged to meet with Fidelity ADT on 5 July / 09h00-12h00
These consultations are obligation-free. No action is needed if you choose not to continue with monitoring. Thank you for your understanding.
Estate Update
• Northern Boundary Road Complete: The Northern Boundary Road upgrade is complete! This was a big project, and we’re thrilled with the results. Thank you to our residents for your patience and to the team who worked so hard to deliver a smoother, safer path for all.
• Gateside Road Refreshed: Gateside Road is getting a fresh lick of paint with all the
road markings newly repainted — keeping things safe, visible, and looking sharp!
• Trailer Parking Area Upgrade: The Trailer Parking Area upgrade is nearly complete! All that’s left is a fresh coat of paint on the gate, and this part of the Estate will be looking neat, secure, and ready for use.
