Mission: “To protect, nurture, enhance and thereby preserve the nature sensitive and interface areas through sound environmental principles and thus enrich tranquil residential living at Dainfern and provide as much indigenous highveld vegetation as possible”
The Nature Association is a non-profit organisation and all income generated through the In Focus magazine is put back into the estate to rehabilitate, enhance and protect the nature sensitive areas in Dainfern estate.
All members of the Nature association are residents who give up their time at no cost as they are passionate about the nature areas in the estate
South African celebrities and sports stars have made Dainfern their home including Magnus Heystek, Ray Jennings (former SA Cricketer and Cricket Team coach), SA Rugby Player Ray Mordt, John "Shoes" Lesiba Moshoeu (SA Footballer) and Miss South Africa Suzette van der Merwe. Captains of Industry also call Dainfern home as the safety and security of their families are of paramount importance to them. Dainfern is a preferred choice of all international companies to house their expat employees who are on contract in Dainfern.
One of the best-selling features of Dainfern is and has always been the security of the Estate. Residents are able to live their lives with no anxiety. The Estate enjoys a 24 hour, seven day a week security service that is strengthened by a leading paramedic service. The Estate has a 7.5km perimeter fence that has microphonic sensors, 24 cameras and a highly sophisticated access / egress system. Families are able to spread their wings and children can ride their bikes, play soccer on the Oval, play in the parks, play tennis or squash or spend an activity filled afternoon in one of two pools without looking over their shoulders.
A beautiful Clubhouse with its modern facilities including a restaurant, Members’ Lounge, Halfway House and conference facilities completes the picture. Business people are able to host conferences, product launches and team building events for their clients and staff in a secure setting with added features such as a delicious lunch, a game of golf or sundowners overlooking the river. For residents there is nothing better than spending a tranquil Saturday or Sunday morning on the deck having breakfast with an unparalleled view of exquisite beauty spread out before you.
